The area surrounding Tirolo is a true hiking paradise. The routes to the Spronser Seen lakes, the largest high alpine lake district in South Tyrol, and the Falknerpromenade, which offers breathtaking views of the Merano basin, are particularly popular. The Hochmuth cable car takes visitors up to an altitude of 1,400 metres in just five minutes, where numerous hiking trails begin, including the famous Merano High Mountain Trail.

The Merano Christmas Market takes place from the end of November to the beginning of January. It stretches along the picturesque spa promenade and Thermenplatz square and offers over 80 stalls with handmade gifts, traditional Christmas biscuits and regional specialities such as speck and mulled wine. The contemplative mood and beautiful lighting throughout the region create an unforgettable atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy.

Forster Christmas Forest

Experience the Forster Christmas Forest, a magical experience with festively decorated trees and a colourful programme for the whole family. The Christmas forest offers a variety of activities that will make you look forward to Christmas even more.

Lana Christmas market

The Christmas market in Lana is known for its cosy atmosphere and the artisan products of our region. Here you will find everything from arts and crafts to culinary delicacies. The market opens its doors on the Advent weekends and offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy local specialities and purchase unique gifts.
